About Our Street Dialogue

We believe that open conversations about social issues are essential to building safer, more inclusive communities. Our Street Dialogue initiative is a proactive outreach program that brings critical discussions to the streets, promoting awareness and collective action on issues such as drug abuse, theft, prostitution, school drop-outs and other social challenges.

Why Street Dialogue Matters

Communities across Cameroon are facing a growing number of challenges, with crime rates on the rise and social issues often left unaddressed. Many of these problems stem from misinformation, lack of education, peer pressure and socio-economic hardship. Unfortunately, marginalised groups, especially the youth are often the most vulnerable to these risks.

Street Dialogue takes a bottom-up approach, engaging communities directly in their everyday environment. We meet people where they are, on the streets, in neighbourhoods and marketplaces to start conversations that matter and ensure that no one is left behind in our collective efforts to create safer spaces for all.
