The Dreamer

Home / Poem / The Dreamer

“I’m gonna make it

I’m not in haste

I dreamt about it

It’s clear”.

Monday until Sunday

First until thirty first

January up to December

Only dreams the dreamer remembers

Dreaming in the day

Snoring loud in the light

Dreaming of higher heights

But no strength to fight.

The dreamer,

Started dreaming as a boy

But never have his dreams hit the bar

Even in an empty pole.

The dreamer,

Castles in the air

But none in his care.

Lazy dreamer,

Only prays like a saint

But never in possession of a cent.

Foolish dreamer,

Why not give your brain and muscles a task?

Keep dreaming

But dream possibilities

And explore opportunities.

Dream big

But dream within reach

Dream rich

But keep a distance from any witch

The dreamer,

Stop dreaming in reverse mood

Work hard

Pray well, but don’t only pray.

The dreamer,

 Don’t be in haste

Haste makes waste

Take your time

But hasten up.
