TOT Training

The TOT was truly a great experience. The expectations I had about the event were surpassed as we participants had quality facilitation and a beautiful atmosphere all through the session. The organisers did everything for the event to be the best possible for all of us and took into account every little details. For instance, they offered us beautiful roses on February 14th which was Valentine’s day and also made a surprise birthday cake for one of the participants on the following day. The atmosphere was really good all through and it helped we participants to make the most out of the event and I’m eager to attend the next sessions. With the quality facilitation we had and the knowledge obtained, I have gained new techniques to keep workshops I facilitate livelier. I still have more to learn from Voices of the Young and there is no doubt that with all what I will learn I will in turn become a great facilitator too.

The TOT workshop was an awesome experience. The training has increased my capacity in workshop/ seminar planning and implementation. This training has improved my work quality in organizing trainings/ seminars and workshops.

I will testify this has been a beautiful experience and learning platform for me as I look forward to attending the 3rd cohort of this training.

The TOT Cohort II 2024 was amazing. I got to learn many new things such as the dos and don’ts of Facilitation, the differences between Facilitation and Lecturing, how to prepare flipcharts for a workshop and so much more. The facilitators had a good mastery of all they had to deliver, not only that, but they made the TOT interesting and inclusive, this TOT has without doubts greatly improved and transformed participants skills in their various areas of influence. I can boldly assure of the much benefits this program has for anyone who gets diligently interested to participate in the next session.

The TOT has been an impactful and unforgettable moments for me. The training was invaluable from the Facilitators, workshop conduct and topics taught were done with lots of creativity and professionalism. It was in fact an Academy that took me in; nurtured , refined and refurbished me to the brand new look I now move in and out of my entire being and readily available to transfer this knowledge gained to my community.

Hope others will have this great opportunity to go through this type of transformation. Can’t wait to see how Level workshop on Conflict Transformation will be initiated by the VOY-PC.
