The recently finished Training of Trainers (TOT) programme in Conflict Transformation and Facilitation is over, but the lessons and enthusiasm are still evident. A broad group of people who were all passionate about promoting better communication and finding constructive ways to resolve issues came together from different organizations like WAA cameroon, COMISUD and so many others for this intensive programme.
Here’s a peek at what contributed to this TOT’s significant impact:
From Concept to Application: It wasn’t only facilitation on the programme. Participants took part in role-playing games, discussions about actual scenarios, and simulations with great enthusiasm. They were able to practice conflict transformation approaches in a safe environment and refine their facilitation skills thanks to this experiential approach.
A Worldwide Tapestry:
The participants varied backgrounds and organizations gave the programme a special depth. Acquiring knowledge from many contextual backgrounds facilitated a more profound comprehension of conflict.
The Power of Community:
Beyond skill acquisition, the TOT fostered a sense of community. Participants formed strong bonds, offering each other support and encouragement as they embark on their journeys as facilitators and conflict transformers. This network promises to be a valuable resource for navigating future challenges. These unexpected connections were one of the most fascinating aspects of the programme. Participants from seemingly disparate fields discovered common ground in their desire to build bridges and navigate conflict constructively. This cross-pollination of ideas sparked creativity and innovative approaches to conflict resolution.
